... well technically, they fell of the nightstand in the hotelroom, but saying I broke them during skiing sounds soooh much more exciting.
Grr. My back up glasses are not as good.

I broke my glasses one time while ziplining in Hawaii. Popped the lense right out. Had to go to backup glasses as well. And no, I didn't run into a tree. haha
I had my sunglasses on and my regular glasses were hanging around my neck. The belt line to the zipline cable flatten my glasses when I came into a platform and popped a lense out. The "guide" saw the lense fly, picked it off the platform and gave it to me. Lesson learned.

Ziplining? Not something I'm naturally inclined to do.

I have a wee emergency repair set for glasses, for doing outdoorsy stuff...
If the glass was still whole I could put it back in. 12 bits, not so much.
